This guide focuses on servers managed with DirectAdmin, the "Evolution" interface.
DirectAdmin allows integration with ConfigServer Security & Firewall. CSF is a firewall designed to help manage server security, in situations such as the following:

To manage CSF from DirectAdmin, log in as admin user and access Extra Functions → ConfigServer Security & Firewall. You can click on CSF to access the specific options.
- To check if an IP address has been blocked, enter the IP address in the text box next to "Search for IP" and click on it
- To remove the IP address from the deny file, enter the IP address in the text box next to "Quick Unblock" and click on it
- To allow traffic from an IP address, enter the IP address in the text box next to "Quick Allow" and click on it
- To deny traffic from an IP address, enter the IP address in the text box next to "Quick Deny" and click on it
To change the firewall configuration, click on "Firewall Configuration", make the necessary changes and then click "Change" to save the configuration.
