Google Analytics provides detailed statistics about visitor traffic to your site. To use Google Analytics with OpenCart (or any other type of site), you must first create a Google Analytics account at http://www.google.com/analytics and get a unique tracking ID.
Once you've set up a Google Analytics account and have the tracking code for your site, you can set it up in OpenCart.
Unlike many other e-commerce applications and CMS, you do not need to install a separate plugin or module to use Google Analytics.
OpenCart includes support for Google Analytics by default. To activate this function, follow the appropriate procedure for the desired version of OpenCart.
