For synchronizing calendars, tasks, notes and contacts in SmarterMail with a Blackberry device, we recommend using the Funambol SyncML plugin. The following steps describe this process:
- Download PIM Sync Client from the manufacturer's site - https://www.forge.funambol.org/download/#phone
- After completing the installation start the Funambol Blackberry Plug-in in your Blackberry
- The "Welcome to Funambol Blackberry Plug-in" screen will be displayed
- Press Menu and select "Settings"
- enter the server location in the format http://mail.2mwin-dns.com/sync/default.aspx
- enter the username in the format of the [email protected]
- enter the password for the email account
- select whether you want to synchronize calendars, notes, contacts or tasks
- select if you want to schedule a sync
- select the type of synchronization - Two-Way, One Way: Client to Server or One Way: Server to Client
- select Menu and Save
- for manual synchronization press the Menu key and Synchronize
