You can use Cloudflare without restrictions/problems along with an Let's Encrypt SSL certificate.

1. Log in to the cPanel administration panel
2. Open CloudFlare and then click on the Settings section to open the configuration panel.
3. From the SSL Support drop-down you have 4 options:

  • Off: - there is no SSL connection between the visitor and the site nor between the CloudFlare server and HostX. This means that visitors can only access the site via HTTP and HTTPS login attempts are automatically redirected to HTTP
  • Flexible: - SSL connection between visitors and CloudFlare but not between CloudFlare and the HostX server. You do not need to have an SSL certificate installed in your account but visitors will see that the site is HTTPS active
  • Full: - secure connection (SSL) both between visitors and CloudFlare and between CloudFlare and your website (the connection is made without authentication)
  • Full Strict: - secure connection between visitors and CloudFlare, respectively secure connection made with authentication between CloudFlare and the HostX server. You will need to configure your web domain to respond to an HTTPS connection, respectively you must have a valid SSL certificate

If you have an SSL Let's Encrypt certificate that is active in your domain and you want to use CloudFlare, we recommend using the Full Strict option.
