Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync uses push email technology to synchronize emails, calendars and contacts with your iPhone in real time.

1. Click Settings
2. Click Mail >> Contacts >> Calendars
3. Click Add Mail Account
4. Click Microsoft Exchange
5.Fill in the following fields: email, domain name, username (without @domain.ro), password, description
6. Click Next
7. Your iPhone will ask for server information (the path to the webmail system). On HostX servers it is usually mail.yourdomain.ro (replace with the real name of the domain). Do not use http:// as a prefix.
8. Click Next
9. If the Webmail system does not support SSL, the message "Exchange account verification failed" will be returned. Click Next and Save. After completing step 10, edit your account again. Click Account Info and set "Use SSL" to off.
10. Your iPhone will display a list of objects it can sync with. Make the desired choices and press Done.
