1. Go to Site Manager in the File menu
  2. Click New Site
  3. Enter the information for the new FTP account:
  • FTP account name (eg yourdomainname.com)
  • Host: ftp.yourdomainname.com
  • Port: 21
  • Protocol: FTP - File Transfer Protocol
  • Encryption: Use plain FTP
  • Logon type: Normal
  • User: the cPanel user that was sent to you when activating the account
  • Password: cPanel password

 

  • Make sure you have replaced yourdomain.com with your real domain or server IP. Click OK to save the information.

Go to Edit >> Settings and select Passive Mode, then Use the server's external IP address.
